Michael Sanders

My insurance career began in 1979 after completing four years of hard work on the athletic field garnering the title as an All American in the sport of cross country running, the fall jewel of track and field. I embarked on my campaign to continue my family business working first for Met life in a field office in Clifton New Jersey; then after one year went to work for the only black owned and operated life insurance company in the state of New York. United Mutual Life Insurance Company nestled in the bed of Harlem, New York’s premier address for intellectual & culturally rich African Americans and business owners. Here I learned everything about marketing insurance products in the five boroughs of New York, and was responsible for 200 general agents and interacted with thousands of consumers, concerning their dividends, cash value information and various other policy changes. Here I developed a charitable gift giving approach using life insurance and marketing these products at various churches, synagogues, and religious institutions. After six informative years, and working six day weeks, I took my acquired knowledge and informational gathering skills, and funneled these energies into working with Mass Mutual life Insurance Company of springfield mass in a field office in Oradell and Paramus New Jersey, where I expanded my knowledge and informational pursuits into estate planning, and worked with a few seasoned insurance field underwriters and attorneys. This journey lasted more than 15 years, and my practice grew in leaps and bounds touching on vast relationships with professional athletes and business owners. This life-long experience has led me to the formation of several practices and companies tailored to meet the specific needs of the most demanding clientele.
