Michael Shah Jahan

Michael Shah Jahan is a retired mathematician with a PhD in this subject. He spent a large part of his career in the world of finance, with his mathematical skills shaping his approach to market analysis, risk assessment and investment strategies. From here he transitioned to private investing, subsequently securing a board position, before moving into the field of venture capital entrepreneurship. In this latter role, Michael sought opportunities in emerging markets and disruptive technologies.

Prior to retiring, Michael worked with a specialist software company to develop trading software, which fused his deep understanding of finance, mathematics and technology to enhance trading strategies. Today, he continues to navigate and explore the intersections of philosophy, mathematics and strategy, applying the insights derived to both his personal investments and intellectual pursuits. He also gives back to society by investing his time and expertise into coaching others. Michael considers himself to be a master strategist, able to leverage his experience and brain power to understand complex systems, drive results and seize opportunities.

Michael honed his competitive mindset in his teenage years as a football player, a role which developed the teamwork skills and resilience that would stand him in such good stead in his future career.

Inspired by Fibonacci, Winston Churchill and influential mathematicians, he cultivates an approach that blends logic, history and strategic foresight.
