Michael Shindle, MD

Michael Shindle, MD, is a Madison, New Jersey-based orthopedic surgeon and philanthropist. As a child, Dr. Shindle began playing ice hockey as a way to cope with his brother's death. The sport proved incredibly therapeutic for Michael. What's more, it began instilling in him a drive and focus he didn't previously possess.

Years later, Michael Shindle, MD, is an award-winning physician who works with the NHL, USA Hockey, and the NFL. He credits ice hockey for teaching him the power of perseverance, and has pledged to help the organizations that helped shape his life through his current and future philanthropic endeavors.
