Michael Teilmann

Michael Teilmann serves as Executive Director of the Bob Hope Hollywood USO at LAX and draws on a deep background in both military and television to honor soldiers and performers. Most recently, Teilmann led the USO Tribute Show in Dubai and the 2007 USO Christmas Show for troops in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He also brought his skills in writing and producing to the U.S. Department of Defense/USO Armed Forces Salute to Hollywood show.

Prior to leading these events, Michael Teilmann served in a variety of roles for the military. He completed his extensive education at the United States Army Institute of Administration, the Defense Information School, The Department of Defense Joint Service Integration Course, the Army Recruiting and Retention Senior Seminar, and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. Teilmann's extensive schooling led to a series of posts, among them Chief, Field Liaison Branch and Employer Support of the National Guard; Chief of Media Relations for the Sixth United States Army, Presidio of San Francisco; and Military Media Directorate with the South Carolina National Guard's Support Command.

Outside of his efforts with military administration and promotion, Michael Teilmann leverages his leadership abilities in a variety of other media channels. He has been a publicist, organizer, and producer of a string of Celebrity and World Pro-Celebrity Tennis events throughout the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and elsewhere. He has also been recognized for his achievements as a producer of several biography specials on A&E. Michael Teilmann's accomplishments frequently lead to invitations to appear on popular talk shows, and he has earned six Emmy nominations.
