Hi my name is Michael (left), a senior at Troy High School in Troy, Michigan.

I am a writer, and a pretty good one at that. Don't believe me? Well I don't blame you, so far this page has been pretty lack luster. Feel free to click the button above to view some of my articles that I have written for The Chariot, my school's newspaper.

Speaking of The Chariot, this year I have been awarded the opportunity to work as both the Sports editor, and Website editor.

So Michael, what you're saying is that you have been given the responsibility to edit stories, design pages, update the website, post on social media, AND still write stories every issue?

It is fairly common knowledge that if you wish to become a good writer, you must be well read. This is why I also describe myself as an avid reader. Some of my favorite books include "The Martian", "The Book Thief", "Atonement", and "A Confederacy of Dunces".

At this point you're probably thinking "this dude sounds like a nerd, all he does is read books and write really great newspaper articles".

Well so far you're right.

I also enjoy the outdoors quite a lot actually. So much so that I choose to spend my summers 548 miles away in the north woods of Wisconsin. More specifically, an all boys summer camp called Camp Deerhorn. I spend months at this place every summer and call it my second home.
