Michael Barry

Award winning author Michael Thomas Barry is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton with degrees in Criminal Justice and History. He is a columnist for www.crimemagazine.com where he pens "This Week in Crime History."

Michael is also the author of six nonfiction books that includes Final Resting Places Orange County’s Dead & Famous (2010), Fade to Black: Graveside Memories of Hollywood Greats, 1927-1950 (2011), Murder & Mayhem: 52 Crimes that Shocked Early California, 1849-1949 (2012), Great Britain's' Royal Tombs A Guide to the Lives and Burial Places of British Monarchs (2012), Literary Legends of the British Isles (2014) and America's Literary Legends (2015).

He is the recipient of numerous writing awards that includes the 2011 and 2014 Readers' Favorite Best Books Awards (silver and gold medals).

Michael has made numerous television appearances including Los Angeles area PBS station KOCE’s “Real Orange” and Investigation Discovery Channel's "Deadly Women." He is a member of The Authors Guild, Mystery Writers of America and American Society of Journalists and Authors.
