With an extensive background in strategic fashion retail leadership, Michael Tomei spent six years with a leading brand as a creative services director. Responsible for worldwide visual strategy, he executed the full range of seasonal market launches. Michael Tomei emphasized an impactful approach that enhanced brand image and generated revenue across more than 8,400 ready-to-wear and accessory, as well as jewelry and watch, locations.
Mr. Tomei received his BA in fashion merchandising from the Miami International University of Art & Design. During this period, he also completed a one-year study abroad program in Milan at the Domus Academy.
Michael Tomei’s freelance fashion styling experience spans Interview Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar Mexico, and Nylon Japan. He also worked on Sex and the City: The Movie.
From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Tomei functioned as the visual merchandising manager of the Americas for Lanvin in New York. As such, he oversaw seasonal styling and merchandising activities, including the design and construction of window installations at institutions such as Neiman Marcus and Barneys New York.
