Michael Torney

Through hard work and dedication, Michael Torney has accomplished an impressive amount of accolades during his college years. As he earned his undergraduate degree, he was awarded Dean’s list honors, was on the lacrosse team, and was in multiple honor societies. With what little free time he had, Michael Torney also worked as the Front Office Manager of a student housing lodge. At Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Michael Torney continued his record of academic excellence and extracurricular involvement, performing with an a capella group.

Following his graduation with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, Torney decided to focus his career path in the field of law. Aiming to apply to law school, he strengthened his resume by becoming a Law Clerk in the Law Offices of Edward J. Bilinkas, Esq. in Randolph, New Jersey. During his year of employment, he gained invaluable experience including conducting legal research, organizing legal files, and communicating with co-counsel, opposing counsel, experts, and clients. Armed with his degree and legal experience, Michael Torney was accepted to the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in Missouri. As he did as an undergraduate, he keeps a full schedule outside of the classroom. Earning top 10% honors, participating in the Negotiation Competition, and acting as the Public Service Co-Chair for the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity’s Executive Board are only a few of the successes Michael Torney has enjoyed thus far.
