I was born in Johannesburg, but grew-up in Zimbabwe, attending Peterhouse secondary school in Marondera which is arguably Zimbabwe's top private boarding school. Peterhouse is also the brother school to Michaelhouse in South Africa.
I always wanted to become a Commercial Pilot or Professional Soldier, hence my interest in Adventure, Leadership, History or more specifically Military History!
After school, I enrolled for my Private Pilot's Licence and held a couple of management positions, but the commercial world heeded a call and I responded, becoming an entrepreneur, as I am always looking for new opportunities.
I have studied Business Management as well as Bookkeeping and Accounting to assist me in becoming a successful entrepreneur.
My latest project is West Acres Honey, which provides an exciting new challenge. West Acres is actually derived from one of my grandfathers farms in Zimbabwe which was actually called West Acre and I just added the "s" at the end to give the name a sense of abundance.
My interests are Adventure-travel, Entrepreneurship/Business, History and Green-Living. I believe that, to have a future, we have to, responsibly 'use' the now. I have a keen intellect and enjoy reading books and watching documentaries. I also enjoy Extreme Sports, Gyming and Orienteering.
