Michael Valdes is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of professional and entrepreneurial experience. Highlights of his career leadership include being the first Latino Director of UBS Private Banking in San Francisco and later Vice President of Deutsche Bank Private Banking, a firm located in New York City. In this capacity, he oversaw $500 million in assets with a focus on providing services for Native-American tribes, high-net worth individuals and Silicon Valley executives. In 2003, Michael Valdes founded Herencia Cosmetics, a spa products provider, for which he served as CEO for two years.
In 2005, Michael Valdes joined Sotheby’s International Realty as a leader of the sales team. Under his leadership, production increased by forty percent. After this, he transitioned into a direct sales role, becoming one of the office’s top brokers within a three-month period. For his exemplary sales performance, he was recognized by the Wall Street Journal as one of the 400 Top Brokers in the United States.
Today, Michael Valdes serves as Managing Director of Sotheby’s International Realty EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East & Africa). He has since moved to London in order to focus his efforts on Sotheby's Auction
