Michael V DeFelice

Michael V. DeFelice serves as founder and managing principal of Stonegate Energy, LLC, of New Canaan, Connecticut. In this role, he develops energy projects using distributed energy generators in both regulated and deregulated markets. These include natural gas and propane fired CHP generators and solar powered electric generators. Stonegate Energy is also an affiliate dealer for Yanmar CHP generator units.

Prior to entering the energy industry, DeFelice served as a managing director at Deutsche Bank Securities’ offices in New York City. With P&L responsibility and oversight of over $50 million in revenue, he managed the firm's strategic advisory business development in the mergers and acquisitions field for real estate, gaming, and lodging. Over the course of three years, he personally generated more than $100 million in potential revenue on behalf of the firm.

Michael DeFelice holds a law degree from the University of Chicago where he studied corporate and securities law. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Dartmouth College.
