Michael Garone

Possessing an MBA in marketing from Hofstra University, Michael W. Garone has spent nearly forty years working in the communications, high-tech, and financial industries. Beginning his career with Texas Instruments Corporation, he held three key management positions over a period of 10 years in Dallas, Atlanta, and New York. Michael W. Garone then spent three years with United Research Company as vice president of sales, managing teams of consultants in their analysis of Fortune 100 companies, and another four years as vice president of marketing and sales with National Data Corporation.
In the early 1990s, Garone made the transition to wireless communications, working with Atlanta-based Trendstar Corporation to develop technologies and implement independent communications systems across the country. In recognition of his contributions, he received an Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award from the Secretary of State at the time, Max Cleland. Following his tenure at Trendstar, Garone joined Teledata International, Inc., where his numerous achievements included negotiating communications contracts for United Nations forces in Bosnia, Angola, and Haiti, creating a communications network for the US military operation Desert Storm, and building three Voice over Internet Protocol networks in Asia.
In 2000, Michael W. Garone founded his first company, Pangaea Communications, LLC, an international communications business. In the following decade, he went on to establish two more companies in the financial services industry: TransOne, Inc., and Transaction Solutions, Inc. Today, Garone’s interests include real estate investment, with a focus on buying, rehabilitating, and renting properties.
