Michael White

Michael White is a British PR student who currently studies at the University of Gloucestershire based in Cheltenham. His hobbies include writing polemic articles, reading material outside of his immediate comfort zones and living a balanced hedonistic lifestyle.

His skill in social media has led him to be involved in social media debates on BBC Radio Five Live, BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Radio Gloucestershire. Along with numerous media appearances and a few talks; including the #AddMe Social Media Conference at the University of Gloucestershire. As well as a keen opinion leader on online matters he is a published poet, aspiring author, radio presenter (Tone Radio, Jazz FM and Wychwood FM) and was CIPR Student Rep Runner-Up 2009-2010.

During the summer of 2010 he became part of the Microsoft UK internship scheme and worked as a Multinational Account Manager and Billing Coordinator for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Multinational Sales Department. He acted as part of a team for the Microsoft Media Network, Microsoft’s premium display advertising network, a collection of owned and operated sites joined with up to 300 quality partner sites. He has worked with services such as MSN, Windows Live, Hotmail, Bing and Xbox.
