Michael Widman

As owner and Senior Engineer of Quality Testing and Engineering, Inc. (QTE), some responsibilities include pre-development consultation, proposals, technical review, personnel management, drilling schedule oversight, budgeting, training, and business development. QTE employs a senior engineer, two staff engineers, two staff geologists, a soil scientist, a director of business development, a field manager, 15 to 20 field inspectors, a concrete lab technician, and four office support personnel. Prior to founding Quality Testing and Engineering, Inc., Mr. Widman was employed by SCI Engineering, Inc. for 9 years as Construction Services Manager and Senior Engineer. Responsibilities included: preparation and review of subsurface reports, coordination, and review of construction observation, coordinated laboratory, and field personnel for material testing, coordinated drilling services, and performing administrative duties such as marketing, billing, material testing data review, and reports, and personnel management.
