Michael Winston, a CFA charterholder, has directed hedge fund investments using a variety of specialized and traditional strategies. He began his career as a graduate of Cornell University's economics program, through which he also completed a year abroad at the London School of Economics. After receiving his bachelor of arts, Michael Winston accepted an analyst position with Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation. He left Credit Suisse in 2002 and shortly thereafter enrolled in Columbia Business School, where he earned his master of business administration (MBA) in finance and economics, and completed the school's curriculum in value investing.

After serving as an analyst at ZS Crossover Management, Michael Winston accepted the role of director and portfolio manager with Catapult Capital Management, a Millennium Partners company. There, he oversaw hedge fund investments in the arbitrage, value and special situation and event-driven spaces, respectively. He now draws on this diverse background as founder and managing principal of Sutton View Capital, an investment and financial sponsorship group.
