Michael Wood

Hi, I’m Michael Wood. I love stories and believe in the power of creative communication and positive intent.

I help organizations and their leaders communicate effectively, engage employees and other key audiences, manage crisis events, drive change initiatives, and tell their brand story.

I’m a longtime corporate communications professional with a background in print and broadcast journalism, an MBA with strong business acumen, and consulting experience across multiple industries. I have partnered with CEOs, presidents, and their leadership teams on communication strategies and messaging for sensitive and complex issues and enjoy collaborating with colleagues at all levels of an organization to achieve positive outcomes.

I have conducted media training with executives, taught PR writing courses to undergraduate university students, delivered writing workshops for lawyers and engineers, and served as a guest speaker on media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management at Philadelphia-area universities. I am proud to have been a part of and led creative, dedicated, and award-winning PR teams.

Outside of work, I am a father of two boys, coached youth and high school sports, and volunteer with community and professional groups. I like to spend free moments outdoors, in the mountains or at the beach, listening to music, reading, and following our local sports teams.
