Mumps (or M) is a general purpose, typless, procedural programming lanuage for building database applications. Originally designed in the 1960's it predates C and is unique in it's syntax and semantics.

Though the death of mumps was predicted to occur sometime ago, I've been happily working as a contract mumps programmer for over 10 years; getting to work at Fortune 500 financial institutions and large health care providers along the way.
