Michael Zaporzan, from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, is the founder of JETZ Aviation Ltd. and has worked within the aviation industry for over 33 years. Michael has been flying planes since he was 16 years old and while most of his friends were excited to have gotten their driver’s license, Michael had acquired his Private Pilot’s license.

Following high school, Michael took up Aviation in college and became licensed in aircraft maintenance. He began his career as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for the Manitoba Government Air Service, and this allowed Michael to continue acquiring the knowledge of the industry that he currently possesses. Eventually, Michael acquired an Airline Transport Pilot license and logged several years of experience on different aircrafts including, Bombardier Aerospace’s Lear 45, on which he has served as Captain, and Cessna’s Citation series (I, II, SII, V). Michael’s favorite aircrafts to fly include the Lear 45 jet and the Super Decathlon, which is a fun aerobatic plane. But in all, Michael Zaporzan loves all aircrafts.

As the Quality Assurance Manager for the Government Air Service, Michael was responsible for maintaining high standards and ensuring that both the maintenance and administration were in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations. He was also the training coordinator, which involved training flight crew, pilots and maintenance personnel. Michael is also is highly certified, not just in aircraft maintenance, but also as a training pilot.

In 2003, Michael Zaporzan founded JETZ Aviation Ltd. and serves as its President. Michael is a Senior Certified Aircraft Appraiser and works within corporate aircraft acquisition. He is also a member of the National Aircraft Appraisers Association and is endorsed by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Under JETZ Aviation, Michael works with his team to provide the best solution to fulfill a client’s aviation needs, that is both high quality and within each client’s budget.
