Michal Cwikla

My name is Michal, my friends call me Mike. I'm Polish, born in Athens Greece. Both my parents are Polish but I was born in Athens, Greece. Think about it, if a kitten is born in a dog kennel is it a cat or a dog?

Ever since I can remember I have had a fascination with automobiles, if it had wheels and an engine I wanted to understand it, deconstruct it, re-imagine the machine as if it was a blank canvas for my creative mind to just go "Bonkers" on it. Now I work on my own vehicle and sometimes give a helping hand with my friends and thier vehicle maintenance.

Now I'm a business student in Algonquin College aspiring to open my own Automobile shop. The business courses have taught me so much and have given me a new perspective for owning and operating my own shop. My understanding of how a business operates and my in-depth knowledge of technology and automobiles has become a part of me, of who I am. I walk down the streets and can re-construct and re-imagine a whole machine, from top to bottom. While trying to stay within the confines of realism.

I'm great with concept work, I'm an excellent sketcher, I can design and draft many projects, although I haven't had any formal training in drafting and design. But numbers and angles and measurements seem to work for me.

What I seek to get out of my education, is the ability to be independant, a master of my own domain, a creator, a biulder of dream rides and owner of a branded Auto-shop.

Until then, I apply myself and work hard to achieve my goals and fulfill my dreams.
