Michalis Georgiou

Michalis Georgiou holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. He Is Certified Information Security Consultant, Certified Forensics Examiner, Certified Information Controls Auditor, Certified SOX Expert, and Certified Penetration Tester among other professional qualifications. Since 2002 he has been working as a Network Operations Manager at the European University of Cyprus and Cyprus College. In Cyprus College from 2002 until 2005 he served as trainer for professionals in the field of Information Security/Hacking. He is an active member of the Cyprus Computer Society and his articles have been published in the scientific journal of the association "Pliroforiki". He is a member of the CCS committee dealing with the issue of Information Security conferences and has participated in international conferences on this topic. He is also a musician and Certified in Music Production from Berklee Online.

Ο Μιχάλης Γεωργίου κατέχει δίπλωμα Bachelor of Science στον κλάδο της Πληροφορικής. Είναι Certified Information Security Consultant, Certified Forensics Examiner, Certified Information Controls Auditor, Certified SOX Expert και Certified Penetration Tester μεταξύ άλλων επαγγελματικών τίτλων. Από το 2002 μέχρι σήμερα εργάζεται σαν Προϊστάμενος Διαχείρισης Δικτύων πληροφορικής(Network Operations Manager) στο Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου και Cyprus College. Στο Cyprus College από το 2002 μέχρι το 2005 διετέλεσε και εκπαιδευτής για επαγγελματίες σε θέματα Ασφάλειας Πληροφορικής/Hacking. Είναι ενεργό μέλος του Κυπριακού Συνδέσμου Πληροφορικής και άρθρα του έχουν δημοσιευτεί στο επιστημονικό περιοδικό του συνδέσμου «Πληροφορική». Είναι μέλος της επιτροπής συνεδριών του συνδέσμου που ασχολείτε με το θέμα της Ασφάλειας της Πληροφορίας (Information Security) και έχει συμμετάσχει σε διεθνή συνέδρια με το θέμα αυτό. Είναι επίσης μουσικός και Certified in Music Production από το Berklee Online.
