Hello, I’m Michayla. I like to say that I'm what happens when you cross the excitement about engineering, technology and innovation with the math skills of an English major, but that's stereotyping, and that's not cool.

Basically, I'm a huge nerd who loves writing about and doing nerdy things. I'm most in my element when I can dive deep into a technical idea and try to communicate it creatively. Or when I can write about things like the literary elements of my favorite sci-fi video games (yes, that's a real paper I wrote in college) or about why empathy is important in marketing (yes, that's a real piece I wrote for a marketing agency). I've also been known to rock a blog about PVC welding or a landing page about wire spring manufacturing. I can write it all.
