I’m a junior in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst studying Sport Management. Through work experiences I have gained a lot of knowledge in the hospitality industry. I strive to put my passion of sports and my knowledge of hospitality together in my future career.

This past summer I had the opportunity to work at The Beachmere Inn in Ogunquit, Maine. I got hired as a breakfast attendant but later moved on to assisting with their events. This is where I fell in love with event management. I had never thought of myself as someone who would plan and excute events until I experienced event planning this summer. However, we do not have this as an option as a major at the University of Massachusetts. I found myself at a crossroad, what do I do? I have a passion for sports as well as event management, so why not combine the two?
