Michel Bernaiche

Michel Bernaiche utilizes his nearly 15 years of multi-industry experience as an intelligence practitioner to assist companies in building or enhancing the operational design, execution, and influence of their intelligence functions.
He was most recently Head of Global Competitive Intelligence at Dunkin’ Brands, and prior to that was Manager of National Competitive Intelligence at Albertson’s and Supervalu. Michel also has several years of financial industry experience where he served in a financial analysis capacity specializing in M&A integration.
He currently serves on the Special Libraries Association Competitive Intelligence Division board as 2014 Chair Elect. He was also the 2012 Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Strategic & Competitive Intelligence Professionals. Additionally, Michel served as Interim CEO in 2012 during a recent leadership change at the Strategic & Competitive Intelligence Professionals. He holds an MBA in International Business from Suffolk University, a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northeastern University, and is a certified competitive intelligence professional through the Academy of Competitive Intelligence.
Michel is a frequent speaker on competitive intelligence topics at venues around the world and is a recipient a 2014 SCIP Fellows Award.
