Michel Bouasria

As a sales director with Vormetric, Michel Bouasria is responsible for building the Vormetric brand and managing company data and cloud security operations throughout eastern Canada. A leader in the field, in 2014 he organized events for Canadian business executives and cybersecurity leaders in response to the increasing number of Security Breaches at the NRC, the RCA, and other departments of the Canadian government. Before joining Vormetric in 2013, Michel Bouasria served senior sales and administrative positions with Trend Micro and Excendia. He got his professional start in the 1990s as a direct sales/channel op territory manager and a major Quebec accounts manager with Cisco Systems Canada.

Outside of the professional arena, Michel Bouasria enjoys traveling to discover new ways of life and reading to learn about past cultures. His favorite sports are soccer and hockey. An active member of the community, Mr. Bouasria also organizes community activities for the Kidney Foundation of Canada and provides financial support to the Special Olympics Canada and the Hospital Foundation.
