Michele Anenberg Poma
Michele Anenberg Poma is a native of Los Angeles, California. Michele moved to Stockholm, Sweden, in 1992 where she worked as a Disney creative marketing executive for Disney's Buena Vista International Sweden AB.
Michele left Disney to stay at home with her young children. During this time, Michele developed an animated children's television series franchise called "Little Miss Me Too."
In 2008, Michele founded KidsGiving2Kids after she became convinced that children today need more opportunities to participate in acts of giving — both with time and money.
From this vision, Michele established the concept for KidsGiving2Kids.org, an online experience with the mission of engaging children ages 3–18 in acts of giving that change the lives of others.
In 2011 Michele established the concept for The World Around Us (Barnen's Nyheter in Swedish) The world around us is a weekly Newspaper and app for young people.
VISION: The world around us envisions a generation of young people who read the news and develop a core understanding of what is happening in the world and because of that understanding, work to make the world a better place.
Michele lives in Stockholm with her husband and two children.
