I respond to children with warmth, consistency, and understanding. My home is a place where all children are accepted and loved…..a place where laughter, play, and friendships are cherished. By nature I am an authoritarian, yet children have choices within boundaries and feel free to express their needs and wants.

My program is small enough so parents and I can work together to create experiences that addresses particular social/emotional, physical or intellectual goals. I use planned activities, field trips, and direct lessons. My focus is to offer a quality open-ended play experience with time to decompress from school.

I respect out-of-the-box thinking. We enjoy umbrellas in the summer rain or "park hopping" (going to more than one park), feeding wild birds or jumping on a bus just for the ride!
