An accomplished professional with more than 10 years of experience in the government, nonprofit, and public sector, Denver resident Michele Fry most recently served as chief of staff and policy director for Majority Deputy Whip State Representative Jovan Melton. In addition to representing Representative Melton at governmental and community town hall meetings, she conducts research of existing and proposed legislation. Michele Fry holds a bachelor of arts in public affairs and history from the University of Denver and a master of business administration from Regis University.

Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Fry has worked with elected officials and legislative groups in both the public and nonprofit sectors. For several years, she managed community outreach with Centura Health LINKS, in which position she handled marketing and developed strategies to advance the organization’s various social programs. Before that, she was the scheduling coordinator and campaign committee member for Jovan Melton’s Colorado State House Campaign. Outside her professional responsibilities, Ms. Fry acts as first vice chair for the Colorado Stonewall Democrats, a LGBTQ initiative of the Colorado Democratic Party.
