Mom to 2 awesome kids ages 10 and 13, wife to amazing Greek guy, VP of Global Comms/PR for Indiegogo; very active community & school volunteer. Previously ran PR at Pandora, Thumbtack, Discovery Digital Networks/Revision3 & Digg. Started out working in Hollywood in the Film & TV business - 1st job was at CAA in the TV Lit dept during the "Ovitz years" - then worked on the development & production side of things reading scripts & coming up with ideas for movies. Later went on to do band publicity at Elektra Records in NYC (Phish, Third Eye Blind) before joining the tech PR world during the dot com boom, working for Jupiter Research & Connors Communications, & then moving back to California (the Northern part this time) in 2003 to join Shopping.com (later acquired by eBay). Throughout the years, I've been known to dabble in voice-over work (https://www.youtube.com/user/AnimalEsteem/videos). I've got a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. I'm a native NYer but a California girl at heart, living the dream near the beach in Pacifica, driving a half-rainbow of jeeps (red & orange) & a 1973 VW Thing (yellow). Have lead my daughter's Girl Scout Troop for 9 years, founder of a boys' adventure club for my son, now in its 6th year. PTO board member for past few years. Co-chaired successful Measure D for our school district. Lover of seeing/hearing live music, world traveler (25 countries so far, including lots of trips to the Greek islands where we have a family home), 28 year strict vegetarian, outdoor dining enthusiast - especially while singing 70s era songs around a fire pit - nature junkie, hippie, hiker, beach-goer, overly-competitive board game player, Deadhead/Phish fan (close to 200 live shows for each). Kauai, Lake Tahoe, Italy, Greece, Culebra (PR), Yosemite, & our annual camping trips with our neighbors are my happy place destinations. Somehow became a California Valley Quail farmer (we have a dozen+ birds in our aviary that we've hatched & raised over the past 4 years). In my spare time, I help spread the word about my husband's hand-made, Hawaiian-style surfboard business: https://www.facebook.com/pacificaboards/

One fine mornin', she puts on a New York station and she couldn't believe what she heard at all. She started dancin' to that fine-fine-fine-fine music, ooohhh, her life was saved by rock 'n' roll . -Lou Reed
