After getting my advanced secondary degree with a major in Fine Arts, I travelled to Los Angeles, where I studied Acting at the New York Film Academy. During this exciting journey, I was cast in a short film which earned me an award for ‘Best Actress Performance’ at the New York Short Film Festival in 2008. After receiving my diploma, I performed in a dance theater, created a film festival for peace, worked as an actor, director’s and production assistant, and extended my studies to screenwriting. Back in Switzerland, I hosted the ‘Basler Gässli Film Festival’, as well as a Variété at the Grand Casino Basel in 2011, and supported Xavier Koller’s camera department as the video assistant on set of ‘Dällebach Kari’. But soon, I was drawn back to Los Angeles, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors. After 20 years of playing the Violin, I returned to the musical roots of my childhood with ‘Die Welt von Ar’ven’ in Basel, and am now ready to take on new creative challenges in Los Angeles.
