I have 25 years’ business experience in the international mass consumer sector.
I have had opportunities across the entire spectrum of the commercial sector to work as a Trader, Buyer, Category Manager in the large scale retail trade, Marketing Manager, Trade Marketing Manager, Export Manager, Sales Director and Commercial Director in the food industry.
In Italy I have a Sales Force composed by n°120 multifirm and multichannel agents.
Worldwide I work with about n°300 Food Importers, Dealers and Distributors.
My experience has been amassed and consolidated directly on the ‘front line’, working for multinational companies as well as small and medium sized businesses. This has resulted in my acquiring a wealth of knowledge about the different strategies and tactics to be adopted - depending on the market, the products and size of the company for which I am working.
Having worked both on the client side as well as for those who sell, I have an all-round perspective of the mental make-up and expectations of every contact and every market operator.
I am a man of numbers and I have a great deal of respect for budgeting and the correct operation of company profit and loss accounts.
I am used to working and achieving results, even with limited resources at my disposal.
My work ranges from the management and development of supermarkets, to the selling of mass consumer products.
I invariably leap from one side of the ‘fence’ to the other. There are occasions when I may manage and develop product ranges and purchases and then there are others when I manage and develop sales. From distribution to industry and back again.
I view myself as being a creative, a visionary, a self-motivator and a communicator.
I am deeply motivated towards guiding organisations or clients towards achieving results. I possess the required ability to build cultures of trust, teamwork and a total commitment towards achieving excellence.
Finally, I practice japanese AIKIDO and AIKIJUJUTSO martial art.
