I am a photographer who more or less stumbled into this profession a few years back. I am completely self-taught and still have an awful lot to learn. I might not know all of the technical parts of photography but I do know that I love to take pictures and I believe I do a pretty good job.

My main subjects are nature and wildlife. Probably 80% of my photos are taken in my backyard.

I also am a huge pet lover. Mainly cats and dogs. I love to capture the look of love that shows in their eyes. I believe I have done that on a few wonderful occasions and according to some of my awesome followers, some of my photos have moved them to tears. It is impossible to express the feeling I get when someone writes me and tells me that a certain photo touched them! It is so humbling and wonderful at the same time.

I have been happily married for over twenty years and have 3 wonderful children, ages 32, 28, and 27.

I love anything to do with the outdoors! I am a rockhound and spending the day on the shores of Lake Superior looking for agates is one of my favorite things to do. I also love cooking and crocheting.
