Michelina Carbone

My hometown is South Bend, Indiana, and I currently live in Athens, Georgia. I am a student at the University of Georgia majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I plan to become a speech pathologist, specifically for kids.

In 2010 I travelled to South Africa on a mission trip to work in underprivileged community schools. This trip was one of he most heart moving and eye opening experiences of my life. This opportunity opened my eyes to the idea of becoming a speech pathologist.

I have always found passion is working with children and helping them achieve their goals, and look forward to working in a profession where I can work with children on a daily basis.
