My name is Michell Urena Pico, born and raised in Puerto Rico. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and currently doing a Masters degree in New Media Journalism at Full Sail University.

Like Thomas Merton said: ‘‘Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.’’ I have always being an artsy person, started with drawing classes then took photography classes, until I started writing and haven’t stopped until then; Writing is my way of letting my thoughts run wildly and ease my mind. I have worked as a creative copywriter at two Advertising Agencies and currently writing for an online entertainment company. I have to say that having the ability and talent to shape words into tangible expressions that can inspire, educate, and entertain has been a blessing and I love every step of it. If the content is important, have appeal, value and mesmerizing effect, it is bound to sell.

My wish, hope and goal is to become a News anchor at WAPA TV or Telemundo, two of the most important broadcast channels in Puerto Rico.
After having the opportunity to work in Advertising and seeing the magic of using words to sell, now I want to pass on a real world matter message.
