Hello! I am a student currently living in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. I am attending Sheridan College in Oakville, where I am enrolled in the Intensive Educational Support Diploma Program. This program will allow me to work in a school supporting students with special exceptionalities. Prior to this program, I completed an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, with a major in Psychology and a double minor in Anthropology and Women and Gender Studies.

In addition to schooling, I also work two part-time jobs. One is a retail position in the mall and another being an in-home autism coach. As an autism coach, I support one individual and teach him social skills, life skills, grammar/ language as well as math. I have been working with this student for about 4 years now.

My interests range from arts to education. Ever since being a child, I have always loved the idea of working in a classroom. I am also interested in music and DIY. In my spare time, I do a lot of crafts, including making all homemade cards, as well as painting and drawing.

If someone had to describe me in two words, I think they would use patient and determined. I have a big heart and I love the idea that supporting students with special needs can change their lives/ help them so much.
