Bitten by the news bug at the age of nine, Michelle's passion for the news industry has only grown with time. Michelle is currently a news reporter for the ABC affiliate KTRE news serving the Lufkin/Nacogdoches area of East Texas.
A graduate of the University of Houston's Jack J. Valenti School of Communications, Michelle has worked in news stations all over Texas and even worked at Fox News Channel in New York City. Michelle can do it all; from reporting, shooting video, and editing.
But what makes her stand out from the rest, is that Michelle is also a writer. Her work has been published in The Houston Chronicle, The Houston Business Journal, and Health & Fitness Magazine. Her writing has even been featured on foxnews.com. When she's not chasing news stories, Michelle allows her imagination to run wild at night as a novelist. She is currently working on her first novel.
