Educational leader, doctoral candidate, researcher, and coach dedicated to developing people, strengthening organizations, and improving educational outcomes.
With more than 20 years of experience in education, I have had the opportunity to serve teachers, school leaders, and educational communities through leadership, professional learning, mentoring, coaching, and program development. My work is driven by a commitment to helping educators grow, fostering positive organizational cultures, and creating systems that support both individual and collective success.
As an Instructional Supervisor for New Teacher Support and Professional Learning with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, I lead initiatives that support educator development, mentoring programs, onboarding experiences, leadership growth, and continuous improvement efforts across the district. I collaborate with school and district leaders to design meaningful learning experiences, strengthen professional capacity, and support teacher effectiveness and retention.
I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Florida International University. My research explores principal practices that influence teacher job satisfaction and retention in Title I elementary schools, with a focus on understanding how leadership behaviors, organizational culture, and workplace conditions shape teachers' experiences and decisions to remain in the profession.
I am also passionate about the role of technology and Artificial Intelligence in education and leadership. I actively explore how AI, data-informed decision-making, and emerging technologies can enhance professional learning, improve organizational effectiveness, increase productivity, and support innovation across educational settings.
Beyond my work in public education, I serve as a Leadership Coach and Purpose Coach, helping individuals develop their leadership capacity, maximize their strengths, and pursue meaningful personal and professional growth.
Areas of interest include educational leadership, leadership development, professional learning, artificial intelligence, organizational culture, teacher retention, change management, coaching, educational innovation, and continuous improvement.
