Michelle Blue
Michelle Blue is a Marketing major and Fashion Merchandising Minor at the University of Georgia from Lithonia, Georgia. During her matriculation at UGA she has held positions as a Terry College of Business Ambassador and on Student Alumni Council where she served as a student representative.
She has completed internships with AT&T and Macy's both in Product Development. Also She has traveled to Ghana, Africa to participate in social entrepreneurship endeavors and equip young girls with the resources needed to be self-sufficient.
Michelle has assumed leadership positions amongst her peers as a Resident Assistant and C.L.A.S.S Advocate for University Housing, where she serves as a mentor and role model to students. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys giving back to the community and currently serves as an Athens-Clarke County mentor for elementary students.
Walter Crawford
Walter Crawford is a Banking and Finance Major at the University of Georgia from Stone Mountain, Georgia. As a driven young professional, he has completed internships with the Social Security Administration, Kaiser Permanente, AT&T, and the Coca-Cola Company. Also, he has participated in intensive career development programs such as Management Leadership for Tomorrow and INROADS.
Currently, he leads a program in the Athens area called Mind Blowers, focused on integrating problem-solving into K-12 education. As an advocate for education and personal and professional development, he delivers speeches regularly, including his upcoming presentation at a TEDx conference.
In addition, Walter has been recognized by the Georgia General Assembly for his community service. While in High School he was granted access to teach his own personal development class entitled Applied Financial Wisdom. Today he continues to serve and fulfill his passion in developing youth.
Walter and Michelle's greatest passion is empowering youth for academic, professional and personal success. As the directors of Success Starts Here they partner with high schools to develop a wide range of students.
