I've been working with software companies big and small for the last ten years to craft intuitive user experiences. Most recently I've been working with GSG Teleco on a range of their software products that help companies manage telecom expenses.

Before that I worked on The Reboot Tracker, a tracker app for juice fasts that lets users set goals and monitor their daily intake of fruits and veggies, their exercise, their emotional states, all while giving customized tips.

I recently moved back to New York after living in Bangalore for the past few years. While in India I taught User Experience Design at Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology. Pre-India I lived in San Francisco and was a senior designer at Sliced Bread Design. While at Sliced Bread Design I had the opportunity to work with companies such as Adobe, Intuit, and Yahoo!

In India I started painting and now I'm taking inspiration from the paintings and translating them to fashion accessories. I hope to launch my first line of screenprinted and embroidered scarves later this year. You can see a selection of my paintings at www.michellecherian.com.

I am a graduate of the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and an alumni of Sarah Lawrence College.
