I am an artist and an educator, currently mentoring, teaching, learning, and painting.

I believe in the importance of play. I create with watercolor, words, pen, pencils, and a hefty dose of experimentation. I do not believe in single stories. I think everything you do is art.

In classrooms and spaces across LA and NYC, I have witnessed the arts guide students to unearth their unique voices.

Then, I've seen these voices strengthen and really their heads, their hearts, and their hands to engender positive social change in the world around them.

I am currently exploring the relationship between creative expression, confidence, and community as an Ed.M student at Harvard's Graduate School of Education.
