My name is Michelle, and I am 20 years old, living in Tweed Heads on the Queensland/New South Wales border, and studying a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Government and International Relations at Griffith University (third year). I have a love of different cultures, love of reading and writing, and have a keen interest in learning as much as possible in this knowledge-oriented globalised world.
In 2015 I will begin my journey as a New Colombo Plan Scholar studying, working, and interning in the Indo-Pacific region. I have current plans to study and intern in China at Zhong Guo Zheng Fa University and China's leading public interest law firm, intern at a Hong Kong refugee advocacy centre, and volunteer teaching english in Nepal.
I created this blog for those of you who may be interested in following my journey, which will no doubt be full of new experiences, but also intense challenges that I aim to embrace with an open-mind and keen sense of adventure. I hope you enjoy my stories.
