I’m Michelle Olvera, Founder & CEO of BoldLatina Media Group LLC, the parent company behind flagship property - BoldLatina.com and newest additions, Buena B 🌎 and BLM Studios 🎬—a Latina-led media holding company amplifying underrepresented voices through journalism, storytelling, and cultural impact. Our work centers Latino perspectives across news, culture, justice, climate, entrepreneurship, and the future of media—bridging narrative power with community-driven growth.

I’m a media veteran with roots in early digital media, including StarMedia, the first Hispanic internet company to go public —where I gained firsthand experience in operations with media at an inflection point of technology and culture.

Beyond media, I’m the founder of Rev Up! Ops, a fractional operations agency supporting small businesses and visionary founders in building systems that scale. We help leaders reclaim their time, professionalize operations, and move from survival mode to sustainable growth.

A former ecosystem builder. I’ve supported founders and small businesses as a startup coach with Ureeka (acquired by ZenBusiness), served on the founding committee of the Latino Startup Alliance, and continue to advocate for equitable access to capital, infrastructure, and visibility—especially for BIPOC-led ventures.

My work extends into investing, impact storytelling and storyhunting, and partnering in film production, with a focus on untold Latino narratives and the future of independent, mission-driven media. I’m deeply committed to Latino empowerment, BIPOC journalism, and climate and environmental conservation, believing cultural storytelling is essential to systems change.

I speak, moderate, and collaborate with brands and institutions at the intersection of media, technology, entrepreneurship, and social impact.
