Michelle Allison

I’m Michelle, I graduated in 2009 with an MA in Public Relations from Leeds Met University; and now work as PR and Marketing bod for a Leeds, UK based business. I live in Leeds, but I’m originally from Manchester (more commonly known as the centre of the universe…) I’m currently quite happy on this side of the pennines. (The ‘uncultured’ side, as my Dad calls it!) In a PR sense, I’m interested in social media, internet journalism, public engagement and specifically, political communication. I’m ambitious, argumentative and just a little but mischievious sometimes. And I definitely talk too much! Aside from work stuff – I love to read, anything and everything really, currently working my way through Olen Steinhauer’s Cold War series, I highly recommend. I love politics, and try my hardest to keep up with current affairs and news. I have a special place in my heart for USA politics, which never ceases to fascinate me. I love my Spotify, and if it ever died and I lost my playlists, a little piece of me would go with them…
