Michelle Branham

I am a teacher currently living in High Ridge, Missouri. My interests range from cooking to writing. Recently I have begun learning sewing and crochet and made two baby quilts for loved ones for Christmas. I have to stay out of fabric stores, though, because I am like a child in a candy store with all the bright, pretty prints!

I have my Masters in English and have taught in higher education for the past 10 years but am looking to transition to public education for career growth and full-time employment opportunity, particularly as much of the faculty teaching roles, in higher ed, are moving to adjunct.

While the majority of my classroom teaching has been in the college classroom, I do have some experience in the high school and middle school classrooms having taught a dual enrolled college course to high school Juniors and also working as a substitute teacher. As a teacher, you will find me to be reflective, sincere, and very passionate about teaching and dedicated to student learning.
