I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist relocating from North Carolina to Florida. I am seeking a position as an SLP in a medical setting and cannot wait to join a dynamic and collaborative rehabilitation team!

Over the last several years, I have been employed in the inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings at the FirstHealth of the Carolinas Moore Regional Hospital. The majority of patients I have worked with are adults with communication, swallowing and/or cognitive disorders post stroke or brain injury. I have always enjoyed promoting patient independence and success.

I have a passion for getting to know my patients and tailoring treatment to ensure tasks are functional and related to patients' needs, interests and hobbies.

I love teaching - whether it is completing patient and family education, providing inservices for nursing and therapy staff, or supervising graduate-level students.
