My name is Michelle Chatterson and I am so happy you stopped in to have a visit.

I have always loved fixing spaces up as far back as I can remember. I come from a family of women who love beautiful homes, and by that I mean homes that have true character. Character that comes from a good road-side find, a thrift store treasure, garage sale deal or a real great DIY project.

My husband and I have two boys and we live in a small town on a beautiful Island.

I created this blog as a journal of sorts: house projects, decorating ideas, the odd recipe or two and some daily life thrown in as well.

As this is a whole new world for me, it will be a place of learning too!
