At present, I am adjunct lecturer and research fellow at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). I completed my PhD at the University of Leeds in 2014. The title of my dissertation is 'Reconstituted Pathos: Time and Loss in the Dramatic Works of Samuel Beckett' and I was supervised by Dr Mark Taylor-Batty. I am particularly interested in the intersection of Beckett's drama with the philosophy of time and the concept of loss. The aim of the thesis is to demonstrate how Beckett's audience's perception of her extradiegetic world is reconstituted as a result of experiencing frustrations in the meaning-making process while engaging with his plays.
