Michelle Clemens
Green Bay, WI
Hi, I'm Michelle.
I'm a general assignment reporter at WBAY-TV, the top-rated ABC affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
I've known "what I want to be when I grow up" since the age of 12. My motivation to be a journalist led me to attend the University of Missouri School of Journalism and begin working as a production assistant at KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri, during my first week of school. I currently report and anchor newscasts.
In the summer of 2012 I interned at NewsOne, the ABC affiliate service, in the ABC News Washington Bureau. Within hours of stepping into the newsroom I found myself responsible for editing, producing, and writing for all 180 ABC affiliate stations and international clients. Impressed by my work ethic, I was later approached to help assist in ABC's coverage of Election Night 2012 at the Obama Headquarters in Chicago.
I have a “can-do” attitude, the ability to write and edit quickly and spell well, a creative outlook, and the aptitude to learn fast. I love working in fast-paced environments and always make sure my work gets done.
Aside from journalism, I enjoy baking cupcakes, traveling, completing marathons, the color pink, and extra foamy lattes.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
