I would probably have the shortest published biography ever: I would hope it only read, Love was found where she was near." What makes up my day? Worship, work, bake, craft, take photos, cook, parent, love, laugh, write, pray, and play (not specifically in that order)...none of which I do really well, but since I turned in my cape, things are looking up! Photography is my passion. Baking is my relaxation. Writing is my refuge. Family is my motivator, and Faith is my inspiration. If I could fulfill one dream, it would be to create a haven, a safe place for those that are emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically exhausted. A harbor they could call their own. It would be someplace special, someplace sacred. Every sight, sound, smell, and touch would be one that would comfort, elate, and inspire. There would be fun and games for those that needed laughter, and solitude and silence for those that needed a reprieve. There would be opportunities for growth, renewal, release, creativity. There would be a lost and found department - we would diligently and lovingly celebrate the loss of baggage, ill-will, heart ache, and pain, and we would dance and praise at the new found joy, happiness, peace, and love. It wouldn't be labeled a retreat, a sanctuary, or a camp. It would be the place with no name, no expectations, no barriers. It would be the start of something new. It would be the place where you come in as you, and you leave as you. But only this time, realizing and knowing who you are.
