I am a writer, performer, participatory arts practitioner and occasional event host and producer. I live and work in Manchester.

My debut collection of short fiction explores the ongoing civil war in Darfur through the stories of aid workers, politicians, bandits, journalists, market stall traders, ex-soldiers and people on the run. Jebel Marra is forthcoming from Comma Press in 2014, with support from Arts Council England.
