I am so blessed. I have found an amazing career, and have stumbled into the greatest, most loving and supportive relationship ever. Does it get any better than that?

I have been self employed most of my life. A few years back I owned my own gift and home decor stores, Home Among Friends in Aurora, Indiana and Rising Sun, Indiana. After seven years, with the economic downturn, I closed the business and ventured back out into a "real job". It didn't take long to figure out that I still preferred working for myself. Getting back into a retail venture would tough because of the overhead. But I missed the friendships and fun that came with really getting to know your customers.

I stumbled across a direct sales company on a friends page....and it grabbed my attention. The name was fun, the packaging adorable, and the product interesting. So I placed an order. But while I was waiting for the product to show up, it kept calling me back to investigate. I told my husband about it and how I thought I might be interested in signing up...his words? Show me the business plan. So I did. And that night, I signed up and became an Independent Consultant with Pink Zebra! ;) Greatest decision ever. www.pzmichelle.com

I truly love what I do, after all I get paid to party! And I have the flexibility and freedom that I crave. Being in the direct sales industry has allowed me forge some wonderful friendships. There is not a day that goes by that I do not give thanks for where I am.

They say you find what you are looking for as soon as you quit looking for it. Well, that is how I found the most wonderful, kind, loving and supportive man. And it only gets better in the fact that I have a tremendous circle of friends and family.

I have one daughter, and two grandchildren.
